Nick Soper & Kristine Tye

Nick Soper is an independent college counselor who specializes in working with creative, arts-minded, and otherwise “out-of-the-box” sorts of students. With a background in theater and film, he received his bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Northwestern University, and in 2013 completed his practicum for UCLA Extension’s College Counseling Certificate course. Nick founded Creative College Prep out of both the desire to transform the way we prepare students for the transition to college and the modern workplace.

Kristine Tye is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in anxiety treatment and teen mental health. She engages teens in a therapeutic process that builds self-awareness and develops tools for managing thoughts and emotions in healthy ways.
